Sounds of Norway is a collaborative field recording project by Erald and Brian, capturing the raw and natural soundscapes of Norway. From flowing rivers and tranquil lakes to bustling city environments, this evolving collection brings the sonic textures of Norwegian landscapes straight into your creative work.

The journey begins at the Akerselva river, tracing its path from Ingensteds all the way up to Maridalen. Along the way, we’ve documented the shifting atmospheres — rushing water, quiet banks, birdsong, urban hums, and the subtle interplay between nature and city life.

This is just the start: new recordings will be uploaded regularly, expanding the library with fresh ambiences and environmental details from across Norway. Perfect for producers, sound designers, and storytellers looking to add depth, realism, and atmosphere to their projects.
